This includes protectable text, illustrations, figures, recordings, editions, selection, coordination, arrangement, and distinctive presentation.

Access grants a view. Nothing more.

No ownership interest, copyright license, commercial license, or other intellectual-property right is transferred merely because material can be viewed, linked, quoted, purchased, or downloaded.

No license is granted for confusingly similar commercial use, false affiliation, endorsement, domain registration, or social-identity use.

Third-party names and marks remain the property of their respective owners. Reference to them does not imply sponsorship, endorsement, or affiliation.

A purchased copy is not a publishing right.

Unless a separate written license says otherwise, a purchased digital edition is licensed to one purchaser for personal, noncommercial reading. It may not be forwarded, shared, uploaded to a library or repository, resold, made publicly accessible, or used to create or distribute a derivative edition.

Permission must be specific.

A permission or license is effective only when issued in writing by the applicable rights holder or an authorized representative and when it identifies the work, permitted use, media, territory, duration, and any required attribution or fee.
