Block-Universe
Reflexive Intelligence
A Static Ontology for Invariant Agents in Four-Dimensional Spacetime.
The complete history is the object. Safety is the admissibility condition.

The governing correction
The block does not make danger impossible.
The constraint has to do the work.
01 · The ontological turn
The agent is not
just a moment.
BURI describes an intelligent agent as a four-dimensional worldtube. Learning, deliberation, and revision remain visible in cross-sections; the complete agent is treated as one globally constrained object.
A complete history can be represented.
Safety still has to be earned.
The complete edition reserves the worldtube–field formal scaffold, the admissibility set, and the conditions under which a whole history may count as a permitted agent rather than a geometric redescription.
02 · Paid-edition threshold
No geometry
sold as magic.
The complete paper develops three conditional propositions—representation, reflexive closure, and safety—and states the construction and verification burdens that could make BURI more than a trajectory written sideways.
03 · Reserved adversarial core
What BURI
must survive.
The four principal objections—redescription, frozen agency, determinism, and finite verification—are argued in full only in the paid position paper, together with the technical research program and evaluation criteria.
The position, publicly rendered
Admissibility,
not perpetual repair.
BURI does not make danger impossible by declaring time static. It asks whether an agent’s identity, reflexive relations, intervention pathways, and safety conditions can be represented as verifiable constraints over a complete history. The update operator is not forbidden from engineering practice. It is denied the privilege of being the only imaginable ontology of intelligence.
04 · The edition
A smaller claim.
A more serious paper.
The public page states the ontological wager and its epistemic limit. The twelve-page paid paper carries the load-bearing work: formal scaffold, three conditional propositions, four developed objections, construction requirements, technical research program, evaluation criteria, and expanded scholarly conversation.
